<<< In Château-Arnoux, the castle built by Pierre de Glandevès between 1510 and 1530 houses within its hexagonal tower a magnificent spiral staircase which was listed as an ancient monument in 1969. In addition to this staircase, the lovers of historical heritage can discover the local council meeting room with its wonderful French ceiling.

In Mallefougasse, St John the Baptist's Church was listed as an ancient monument in 1997.
It is a rare specimen of the first Romanesque art. >>>

| <<< In Malijai, you can visit the castle and admire its plasterstones... Built in the 18th century, this classical castle housed Napoleon I for a night on his way back from Elba. Inside the building, you can visit various rooms which were listed as ancient monuments in 1983 and gather a beautiful collection of Louis XV and XVI plasterstones. |
In Peipin, you can visit the castle
and its chapel built on a hill.
This former feudal fortress was almost demolished during the Revolution but recently, it has been restored and now it belongs to private owners. >>>

you can enjoy the castle park and its bridle path.
Crossed by a bridle path leading to the former stables and the castle, the castle park which is listed as a "Natural Site and Monument" is being restored. The park gathers around 150 species of trees and shrubs. |

St Martin's Church in Volonne.
Listed as an ancient monument in 1971, this church is an exemple of the first Romanesque art and represents one of the heritage jewels of this picturesque village. A recent restoration of the side aisles enabled to preserve the building's prestige. >>>

<<< Peyruis is a country of fountains.
The oldest one is the Parlatan fountain. It was restored in 1814 but it was put into service some centuries before. |

The Marseilles earthenware statue in Peipin.
The parish church houses a very beautiful Marseilles earthenware statue which represents a Madonna and child made by Joseph Fauchier in 1730.

This former conventual church was built in the 15th century and presents some Gothic elements. It was restored some years ago, and now, it houses cultural events. |

The oil mill in Volonne.
Located on the Jacques Paulon avenue, which was known before as the "canal'" area, the mill was feed by the waters of a canl. The mill has been restored and it houses the tourist information centre every summer. >>>
